Mentone Hotel

Rooms are clean & spacious. Plenty of tea & coffee also very good sea view & 20% Discount in the Nick's restaurant down stairs. Restaurant very busy probably worth a look.

Can't comment on food all looked fine inside and out beer was good which was all we wanted. Prices on menu looks good would consider return next visit.

Absolutely loved it here. We were in room 1 which has everything you need plus more. We stayed 2 nights which wasn't long enough. Excellent location and views. Great restaurant downstairs called Nick's which offers 20% discount if your staying in the rooms. We'd definitely recommend a visit.

We have dined at Nicks a couple of times now and had the 5 stack burger it's worth it if you split it, thus time we had fish and chips and nothing like Salt and Malt up the road, they are narrow chips OK for Burgers not fish and chips the background music was awful and not sure l would return because of this, although lunchtime is for the pensioners and maybe a bit more lively in the evening, l really fancied the King Surf and Turf but couldn't stretch my budget that far, that over a week of food budget

Dined in on a Thursday evening food, service atmosphere great, menu very good staff very helpful, Burgers are to die for very nice. Was staying at another hotel but they never did food. Mentone has the restaurant beneath known as NICK'S BAR. Very popular with regular trade from locals and returning guests.i certainly would return again.

The hotel offers sea bay views at really affordable prices. Sadly service is more self oriented, so ensure to email staff for an email regarding the hotel rules, where to get keys and check in, wifi etc beforehand. The rooms are pretty decent, but the bathroom sink is a hazard, it's a bit too close to the toilet and I hit my head on it. If the sink can be a bit safer, I'd change my rating to 5*. The water in shower was a bit cold too

Warm room, amazing view of the sea. Restaurant downstairs, I booked via booking dot com, received 20% discount on the restaurant below. It is within a few minutes of the pier and dozens of arcades and food places, restaurants, pubs. I initially booked this to go on a trip to the Island nearby but was cancelled due to the weather. Still had a lovely time in the area.

We stayed here to attend an event at the pier. Perfect location. 10 minute walk. On arrival we caught the golden hour and were able to enjoy a drink outside. Room was clean, comfortable and the bathroom was modern. A little compact around the entrance to the room but perfectly fine for two people. A lovely touch was the pastry / cereal / milk option in the room for us. We weren’t aware breakfast was included with our room so it was a lovely added extra surprise!
